CAREER OPPORTUNITY PUBLIC WORKS MANAGER TOWN OF WINNIPEG BEACH The Town of Winnipeg Beach, located 45 minutes north of Winnipeg on the shores of Lake Winnipeg invites written applications for the position of Public Works Manager. We are seeking an individual who is self-motivated, with strong management skills, proactive with related public works experience, demonstrated leadership skills, supervisory, public relations and administrative skills. Reporting to the CAO, major responsibilities include managing and overseeing the daily operations of the Public Works Department in the areas of Roads, Building & Property, Capital Projects and Equipment Management. Minimum 5 years’ experience in public works operations required. The ideal applicant will have: • Experience supervising staff, scheduling work and budgeting • A valid Province of Manitoba driver’s license- class 3 with air endorsement • Proficiency in the operation and maintenance of road equipment (including grader & backhoe) • Grade 12 Education or equivalent • Computer skills (including Microsoft Excel & Word programs) The Town of Winnipeg Beach provides an attractive benefits package; including Health, Dental & Vision, Pension Plan, Long Term Disability, Life Insurance and AD&D.
