Skate & Stick Times Helmets are recommended for all ice activities within our Community Centre We do have skates in various sizes free to use while here but please bring your own if possible. We also accept donations of used skates and hockey equipment for our programs. Adult sized skates are in short supply. 2 M’s has taken over our canteen for the season featuring great food at good prices. Family Skate $2/person Friday 4 - 6pm, Saturday 4 - 8pm, Sunday 11 - 3pm; Canteen is open Stick Time $2/person Tuesday 5:30 - 7pm Saturday 2-4pm, Sunday 3 – 5pm; Canteen is open Helmets with face protection mandatory for everyone under 18 but highly recommended for all. Our annual event takes place Friday December 6th featuring carols on the bandstand, an indoor market in the Community Centre plus a visit from Santa and more! Adults $5 kids under 10 $3. Proceeds go to this year’s Relay. Lakeside Lions Annual Cookie Walk Come by the Winnipeg Beach Legion Saturday December 7th 11am – 2pm and scratch that Christmas baking off your to do list while supporting our local Lions. All money raised stays in our community! Wassail Night A celebration of the winter solstice, December 13th 7pm. There will also be seasonal music & song, sing-alongs, special guests and a holiday craft for kids! Everything is free, but donations are appreciated. Canteen will be open as well. There’s music & lights on the ice, games, and family fun for all ages. Our canteen will be open with delicious snacks. Say goodbye to 2019 and hello to 2020! There will be the 3rd annual Cash & Candies Bonspiel where you get cash if you win and candy when you lose, a Kiwanis Fish Fry, Lions Baking Contest & Auction, a pancake breakfast and the Firefighter’s ice fishing derby, ice racing and much more!
